School days!

The usual school day routine

6:30 am – Wake up

7:20 am – Leave for school

3 pm – Walk to the Astroturf

4/5 pm – Start walking home

6 pm – Get home

7/8 – Dinner

After dinner – My private time in which i do what i want (to an extent).

Organisation

On school days I am a lot more organised in the mornings. I always leave for school at exactly 7:20. I don’t seem organised at school but at home i am really organised and even paranoid about how things work and where things are. If my room is messy i clear it up as soon as i can. I spend a lot of time on the internet because I can act myself on my computer and I know where everything is and im not worried about losing anything. Even though im organised at home im very unorganised at school. I forget my pens, pencils, ruler etc.

Family

I dont see my dad very often. I see him most days but its only usually at dinner. He lays floors all over England and I have to look after my mum if she is ill. I would really like spending more time with my dad but he works to bring in money. I only generally spend time with him when we go golf on a sunday. Me, my uncle and my cousin are really close. We go to every MK Dons home game and me and my cousin play football at Downs Barn almost every weekend. I used to stay over my uncle’s every saturday but now i dont because he can’t afford it. Me and my cousin aren’t so close anymore because he lives on a boat with his girlfriend and even though they are moored up near my house we dont see eachother much. My brother is at university in Bangor and my sisters are all living with there boyfriends. My oldest sister Louise lives with her boyfriend Mark. She has 2 kids, Savannah and Olly. I dont see her much anymore because her boyfriend had a fight with my dad last time he was round. My second oldest sister, Kerry, lives with her boyfriend James. They have 2 kids, Alfie and George. Me and her boyfriend get along really well whenever i see him. He was like a brother to me as soon as i met him. My youngest sister, Leanne, lives with her boyfriend James. Leanne is always there when i need her and her boyfriend looks out for me and if im in a problem he knows before i tell him because he always has people watching out for me incase im in trouble. My family are always there for me and and if im being honest, im a spoilt brat, and they deserve better than me being annoying all the time.

Friends

I have the most AMAZING friends in the world. Sam Gillingwater has been my bestfriend ever since i can remember and hopefully it will stay that way. I aint really old enough to know who my real friends are and who are just pretending. But some people i am friends with are truely the best. I have loads of friends. Most of them look after me like im family and i try return the favour but i really aint the best at that. I take advantage of having so many friends sometimes and to be honest it is going to back fire on me sooner or later. I’m happy to have so many friends, I dont know what i would do without them. I love them, they are the people who really matter!

My Girlfriend

Me and my girlfriend have been together a week, but we have been together twice before, once for 2 months and once for 3 weeks, she makes me so happy and not once have i stopped thinking about her, there are so many things i can say about her, but she would probably be embarrassed so im just going to say she is beautiful and i love her a lot, she means the world to me!

Football!

When i was younger i was football crazy. I joined a team when i was 5/6 and in my first game i scored from the half way line. I still remember it because everyone told me afterwards that i had real potential to be a pro when i grew up. As i got older i was being told to play in positions i wasn’t good in. So i moved to a club that my dads friend managed. I played my first game against a team that i could of joined when i was 5 and i knew some of there players as well. We lost 13-1 and i scored our only goal. But it was a fair scoreline. Because at the time they were the best in MK and our team was one of the worst. The next 2 seasons really made me believe i could be a pro. I was top scorer in the league by more than 10 goals both seasons, I was made captain and i captained my team to 2 leagues and 4 tournament wins. After that season the team folded, but every player from the team went to MK City, including me, except a few players. My first season at MK City we won the league, we won every tournament we were entered in and i was top score again. The second season. We finished second, but i still got top goalscorer, but i felt i wasn’t good enough for the team so i quit. I hadn’t played for 2 years so i decided to try join United MK. They gave me the forms to sign up, but then i went on holiday and when i got back it was to late to join so i have to wait until next season to join a team. I found out a few months ago that i was meant to have a trial for Watford, MK Dons, Birmingham and Leicester. My dad wouldn’t let me go to the Watford or Birmingham ones because they would want me to be in Watford/Birmingham for 3pm every day and my dad wasn’t prepared to threaten my education for something he didn’t believe i was good enough at. I went to the MK Dons and Leicester ones and had a chane to join there academy’s but Leicester wanted me in Leicester for 3:15 and MK Dons wanted me to train with kids my age on one day, kids older than me on another day and kids younger than me another day. If i decided to join i would of been losing my social life. I really do think im good enough to be a pro at any level. But when i tell people that i want to be one, my dad always puts me down and says there is no way im good enough. All i need is some support from my family or friends and ill be able to join a team without thinking im wasting my time. I miss playing football. I miss getting up early on a sunday and getting ready, i miss celebrating when we win, i even miss being annoyed when we lose. Since ive stopped playing for a team, it feels like there is something missing, and writing this has made me realise that the thing missing, is football!

My second week with the Netbook

Thursday 12th November

It started as a normal day, woke up, got dressed, checked my e-mails and then went to school,  i nearly dropped my Netbook about 5 times on the way to school but i managed to keep hold of it. Just about. Once i got to school i didnt turn it on because i thought we were going to use them in 2 double sessions that day and i had forgotten my charger so i didn’t want to waste the battery. It turned out we only used them for one double session which was IHE. But in ICT we used the computers to set up this site and start our first post “My First Week With The Netbook”. Once i got home i finished my first post, and posted it, i went on facebook to sort some stuff out. When i had sorted it out i went on meebo and talked to my friends until i was tired and then i switched it off and went to bed.

Friday 13th November

I couldn’t wake up straight away so i had to text my mum to pull me off my bed. Once i was up i ate my leftovers from dinner the night before in a sandwich and left the house to go to school, still eating the sandwich. I nearly tripped because I was concentrating on eating my sandwich and then my Netbook came off but i just managed to stop it before it hit the floor. Once i had got to school i went on it because i knew we didn’t have any more than 2 sessions on the laptop. I was still addicted to BLOONS but i decided to make a drastic change in what i played so i decided to play BLOONS 2. On my way to my first session i walked into a wall and thought i had hit the laptop to. So as soon as i got the chance i checked it was ok and all in one peice and luckily it was. We used the Netbooks session 3/4 in science to make a Powerpoint or Poster on Cholera and i managed to complete my work with a couple of minutes spare so i triple checked my work to make sure it was good enough to e-mail to the teacher. When i got home i just went on Facebook and Meebo until i felt tired so i went to bed.

The weekend 14th/15th November

I had nothing planned on Saturday so i woke up and went on my Netbook.  Once i got bored of it i went downstairs and watched tv with my mum. I didnt really do anything that day apart from hang out with my parents for a change. I went on my laptop for a while before bed but i had to go to bed early to get up for golf in the morning. So i off turned off my Netbook again and went to bed. On sunday i woke up at 7AM and got ready for golf. At the golf course i saw Nick Rabson and was embarrassed because he was talking to my dad and i was just standing there like a lemon. Once we got home, me, my mum and my dad went to the pub and played darts until about 5:30. Once i had enough of losing i went home and came on my Netbook. I had a lovely Roast dinner that night and other than that i just played around on my Netbook and went to bed so i could get up bright eyed and early in the morning for school.

Monday 16th November

I woke up at 6:30 as usual and got dressed. I thought i hadn’t charged my Netbook so i was worried until i got to school until i checked the battery life and realised i had charged it. I don’t remember using it in school on Monday but im probably wrong as i have the mind of a goldfish. I didn’t use it after school either because i had my girlfriend round my house and we were watching movies until my mum dropped her home and then i went to bed.

Tuesday 17th November

I woke up at my usual time. Had some breakfast and made my way to school. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it being hall day. I was more enthusiastic than anything. We didn’t use the Netbooks much but we had used them alot in lessons so it was fun to do some practical stuff in the afternoon. It was a good hall day because at the end of the day we had to make a pitch on a brand new fizzy drink or an ice cream or something else in our groups. My group made a energy drink called BACKFLIP and our group was voted the best by Jess and Charlie. So it was a fun/good hall day overall. After school we went to the astro for a while but it got boring wuickly so me and Sam went home. When i got home i went on my Netbook and thats all that really happened that day apart from i had a lovely dinner.

Wednesday 18th November

When I got to school i played BLOONS because i hadn’t played it in a couple of days. We used the Netbooks in PSHE but I can’t remember what for. That was the only lesson we used our Netbooks in. When i got home i decided to put it on charge straight away because i thought it was going to die on me. I needed to clear my head with a few things later that day so i sat out in the garden with my netbook and listened to some music. It was quite a good day. But it could have been a LOT better.

My first week with the Netbook!

Thursday 5th of November

This was the day we got our Netbooks. I could tell everyone was excited by the amount of noise in class.  Since i got myNetbook i’ve treated it as well as i can. the day we got the netbooks i took mine home straight away. I got home and turned it on instantly. I tried downloading some stuff but i found out we cant. I put it on charge before i went to bed so i could bring it to school full of charge and life in the morning,

Friday 6th November

i woke up and was happy to see that getting the netbook wasn’t a dream. I started to use my netbook bag as a school bag for all my stuff, except my P.E kit. When i got to school i turned it on straight away so i could explore it a bit more before classes started. Unfortunately we only used the netbook in one lesson on friday but it was fun using it anyway. I took it straight home again and i went on it when i got home. It was like my life was being revolved a laptop. I was on it until my eyes siad they had had enough so i packed it up, put it on charge, and went to sleep.

The weekend

At the weekend i woke up and turned on my netbook after breakfast. I updated my status on facebook and decided to turn it off as i was going out. When i got home i went on my netbook again and took it downstairs to watch the boxing. I went posting crazy watching David Haye beat Nikolai Valuev in a boxing spectacular. After the fight i made my own dinner and then i went to bed so i could get ready for the incredibly boring sunday ahead. When i woke up on sunday i just went downstairs with my netbook and chilled with my parents. They were “a bit” hungover so they wasnt talking much so i posting alot on facebook and searching for an online MSN to go on. overall my weekend was great with my new bestfriend, THE NETBOOK.

Monday 9th November

I had charged up my netbook the night before and as i got into our tutor base i turned it on. The class was all playing on there netbooks on the class famous BLOONS. It was addictive. We used the netbooks in Science in the afternoon and using the netbook was still a new and exciting thing to me so i found myself being a tad hyper. Once again i was hyper when i took it home that afternoon and started messing around playing games on the netbook. Every now and again the internet would freeze on the laptop and still be working on my Playstation.  So i don’t really know what was to blame. it must of been my internet just on a minor fault or it was the laptop messing around.

Tuesday 10th November

The start of the day was good. We used the netbooks in french and in EH so we it was an all round good day with the netbook at my side. It was fun in french because we could have a laugh with th eother classes because they didn’t have them. When i took it home that day i thought i had lost it because i had got used to it so much. I searched around my house for half an hour and didnt realise it was in my hands the whole time. The battery was nearly dead so i put it on charge and left it alone until the morning.

Wednesday 11th November

I woke up and checked my emails incase there was something important. It was a normal morning for the best part. But when i was leaving for school i didnt bring the laptop with me. So i had to go back and get it. Once i had got it i rushed to school and i nearly dropped it like 5 times. But when i had calmed down i just turned it on and played BLOONS again.
